Use these inexpensive test kits to monitor water quality parameters in your pond.  PH is especially important since pH will greatly reduce the effectiveness of products like bacteria, algaefix and other water treatments. The ideal pH for a pond should be between 6.0 to 8.0.  We carry pH higher and Lower to get your pH in the right spot.

We carry a few different test kits:

Koi Medic Salinity Meter - This meter is very accurate, easy to use salinity meter. Simply turn on and dip into the pond.  Within seconds the LCD display will display salt content in percentage. Features include Auto shut-off,  Drop shock six feet, 150 hour battery life, low battery warning, water resistant, 0.00 - 1.00% range 0.01 resolution and 4 x 1.5v button cell batteries.

Hanna Electronic PH/ Temp "Pens" - Proper pH is important.  These meters give fast, accurate readings of pH(0-14ppm), simultaneous readout of both H and temp( both in C and F).  Battery level indicator and auto shut-off.  Automatic temperature compensation.  Use calibration fluid periodically to ensure meter is providing accurate readings.  A storage solution can also be purchased which protects the electrode during storage. Put a few drops in the storage cap after each use,  to prolong electrode life.

Tetra Oxygen Test Kit: Use this easy tester to monitor oxygen levels in tanks or ponds. Includes test reagents, test vial, color scale and instructions.

Liquid Salt Level Test Kit: An easy and accurate test for measuring the salt content in salt water. Salt reduces fish stress but should not be over used. Use this test kit to maintain proper levels.

Liquid Ammonia Test Kit: Ammonia can be lethal to fish! Ammonia is a byproduct of fish waste,
dead algae, etc. Kit does 75 tests simply and accurately. This test kit reads from 0-7 ppm.

Liquid pH Test kit: Tests from 5.0-9.0. Proper pH levels are needed for most water treatments to
be effective. 7.0 is neutral, desired range is from 6.0 to 8.0. 16+ tests.

Laborette Test Kit: This kit tests pH, Nitrites (NO2), General Hardness (GH),  Carbonate Hardness or Alkalinity (KH),  Ammonia (NH3),  12 test kits per case

Master Liquid Test Kit: Complete kit for testing pond water levels of ammonia, nitrite, salt
and pH. Kit contains instructions, laminated color cards, four test tubes and holding tray.

Pond and Water Thermometer: This handy thermometer can be used as a floating thermometer (with cap off).  Ideal for use in tanks or ponds.  Made from ABS Plastic and shatterproof lens.  Reads in both F and C.  Easy snap on cap makes thermometer float, snap off to use as a sinking thermometer.  3' cord included.
