K TEA

If you have a pond you most likely have algae. The best way to get ride of algae is to treat it with an algaecide. There a are two kinds of algae that can be treated. Floating and bottom growing algae. K-Tea is an algaecide similar to Cutrine, but is 8% copper instead of 9% like Cutrine. K-Tea is only available in 2.5 gallon containers. Dosage rate is: 0.7 to 2.9 gallons per acre.

Use 1 1/2 Quarts K-Tea with 2 gallons of water. Apply in the morning on a sunny day. We recommend using an activator(Cide Kick II)along with the K-Tea to spread up the process of killing the algae. Apply using a hand sprayer and spray only the algae due to the fact that K-Tea is a contact killer.
