<div class="mceTemp mceIEcenter" style="text-align: left;">Winter is upon us – and for those of us in colder climates it means dealing with snow and ice.</div>
<p>Winter can be very hard on your pond or water garden and your fish if you are not prepared. You could even have a freeze kill and lose all of your precious fish.  It isn’t too late. Let us help.</p>
<dl id="attachment_8" class="wp-caption aligncenter" style="width: 293px;">
<dt class="wp-caption-dt"><img class="size-full wp-image-8 " title="pond-de-icer" src="http://74.53.211.66/~thepondw/pond-blog/wp-content/uploads/2008/12/pond-de-icer.jpg" alt="Pond De-icer" width="283" height="208" /></dt>
<dd class="wp-caption-dd">Pond De-icer</dd>
</dl>
<p>When your pond or water garden freezes over it does not allow the necessary gasses to escape from your pond. Having a simple bubbler, deicer or aerator in your pond will keep a small area open and keep your fish safe.</p>
<p>Check out <a title="Pond De-Icer" href="http://74.53.211.66/~thepondw/index.php?l=product_list&amp;c=12">The Pond Warehouse Pond De-Icers</a>.</p>
<p>When it gets real cold it may look frozen over, but the ice will “honeycomb” and still allow the gasses to escape. Again it’s not to late, spud a hole and install a bubbler, deicer or aerator right away.</p>
